Science Club
Our Science Club began in the first term of the year and takes place every Friday at lunchtime with pupils from different classes in attendance. Among the topics that our students learn about are how to make Slime, identify Acids and Bases using Red Cabbage as an indicator. They also discover the right recipe for Elephant Toothpaste! Recently Coding using Scratch has been added. Here students create short animations that are very imaginative and enjoyable to watch.
We also have a fantastic annual Science Day in the hall during Science week, where students from all the different classes can come down and try out a range of weird and wonderful science experiments for themselves.
