Chess Club

Here in St Oliver Plunkett’s we have an active Chess club which takes place every Tuesday at lunchtime in the homework room. This club was set up this year by two of our fourth class students. We purchased a number of chess sets and numbers attending have been growing steadily every week. New arrivals into the club are taught the various rules of the game by other pupils.
