Hello and welcome to the official school website of Saint Oliver Plunkett's N.S.

St. Oliver's is located on Proudstown Road Navan, Co. Meath. The school was built in the early seventies. From your browse through our website you will be provided with a flavour of the ethos of the school, of our achievements, our work and of our hopes and ambitions for all of the pupils who pass through the school gates.

Sports in St. Olivers

St. Oliver Plunketts N.S. is synonomous with excellence in sport.
The staff have worked tirelessly over the years in teaching the skills of the different sporting games to the children in our care. We provide our pupils with the opportunity to play for fun, no matter what  the skill level. We have always placed an emphasis on playing for enjoyment and in a sporting manner.
This philosophy has certainly paid off as can be seeen by the range of sports we undertake in school and by our numerous successes on the sporting field.

Technology in our school

Technology has brought about dramatic changes in the way our students are educated. They are providing new ways of both learning and communicating with schools world-wide.
We have a dedicated computer suite plus each classroom has an interactive white board, visualiser, computer and teaching laptop. We have a bank of ipads which are used for station teaching in the junior classes.
